The Institute is having its own workshop with modern machineries.Tool and equipments as per the training manual craftsman Training Schemes.

The Institute is having library with technical books of all trades.Trainers can borrow books from the library for seven days.

Theory and practical training are conducted by qualified and experienced assistant training officer and supervised by training officer (T.O. and Principal).

The Institute provides free computer training of D.C.A course with certificates and 3 months Spoken English Course.

The Institutes conducts seminars over different topics by inviting eminent personalities of different organisation from time to time to create general awareness among the students.

G.B.I.T.I conduct study tour and industrial visit to different workshop,factories & industries from time to time.

Cultural activities like debate,songs and drama competitions are conducted and the winners are awarded in the Annual fuction by the respected guest.

G.B.I.T.I provides a yoga class weekly by an experienced yoga Guru to develop the concentration of the students.

Indoor and outdoor games competition and annual sports are conducted every year.Institute has an own Volley Ball Team.

G.B.I.T.I has its own placement officer to assist the successful candidates for employment apart from this,the passed out candidates are eligible for getting apprenticeship training through apprentice adviser set up by the Govt. of odisha as per vacancy according to the zonal merit list.
